Socio-ecosystems restoration, renaturation or rewilding : a diversity of life-saving actions?
A great deal has been written on the concepts underlying the restoration, renaturation or rewilding of socio-ecosystems, but very little has been written on the results of comparative analysis experiments. Based on work carried out over the last twenty years on the evaluation of the success of these operations on mountain and Mediterranean pastoral agro-ecosystems, we will introduce some perspectives as to the orientations that can be drawn from them.
